Once upon a time, I used to just totally wing it. I’d simply decide what to eat on the day, dash to the shops after work, cook and sit down to eat around 6.30-7.00pm. Or, we would conveniently visit our parents at dinner time (thanks mum!).
I LOVE FOOD! Be it sweet, savoury, sour or bitter, from pasta to soup, cakes and chocolate, I truly love to eat it all!! As a family, I really focus on ensuring we mainly eat healthy, nutritious and beneficial foods. However, I also allow my girls to eat chocolate, ice cream, cupcakes and whatever else lights up their beautiful little faces.
I first heard about the Thermomix a few years ago through my girlfriend. She swore it was a cost saving, time reducing, all-in-one machine. She also mentioned the price... I thought she was crazy! That was (initially) the end of my Thermomix journey.
If you had of asked me 5 years ago what a typical daily food intake consisted of, it would have looked something like this: Breakfast: Sultana Bran (with extra sultanas), glass of orange juice Morning Tea: 3 Oreo biscuits Lunch: leftovers (see dinner below), chocolate bar, glass of orange juice
